Understanding Corpay Select Decline Codes

What Is It?

Corpay Select users can now view clearer, more intuitive explanations for declined transactions directly in the Corpay One web app. We’ve translated the most commonly encountered decline codes into easy-to-understand messages, making it easier for users to diagnose issues and take the right next steps. Additional translations will be added over time to cover the full range of decline reasons.

Note: This feature is currently available on the web app. Mobile app support is in development and will be released soon.

Why Are We Building It?

This feature was created in response to feedback from customers and internal teams who emphasized the importance of understanding transaction declines in the field. Quick access to decline reasons helps fleet managers and drivers minimize delays and keep vehicles moving efficiently.

How Do I Use It?

  1. Sign in to your Corpay Select account.

  2. Navigate to the Transactions page.

  3. Click on a declined transaction.

  4. A clear reason for the decline will be displayed under the transaction details.

That's it! You now have the context needed to resolve issues and keep spending on track.
