We take security seriously, which is why we offer 2FA.

At Corpay One we believe it's absolutely fundamental to offer the best level of security for your data and your Corpay One account. Two factor authentication (2FA) gives you far more security than a single password can on its own.

With two-factor authentication, you use two "factors" to secure your account:

  1. A secret password (like the one you already use).

  2. A phone that only you have access to.

By adding your phone as an extra layer of protection, you can be sure that your account is completely secure - even if your password is stolen, or if a stranger accesses your email account. In other words, 2FA makes it so that anyone who wants to access your Corpay One account must also use your phone.

How does 2FA work in practice?

When you log in to Corpay One, you must first enter your password. Once you have entered your password, you will receive a push notification from an authentication app on your smartphone, asking you to enter another code to log in. This code expires after a short time and can only be used once. The app generates a new one-time code each time you use it.

Setup

We've made it easy for you to set up 2FA, and it only takes a moment.

  1. Log in to your Corpay One account here.

  2. Click on your name in the lower left corner, navigate to My Profile > Security and follow the steps in this article.

Which authentication app do I need?

At Corpay One, we recommend the Google Authentication app developed by Google, which allows any service (such as Corpay One) to implement 2FA. You can read more about Google Authentication and Two-Factor Authentication here (opens external page in new tab).
