How to Use Credit Card Auto Pay: Simplify Your Payments
AutoPay is a convenient and hassle-free way to manage your credit card payments. With Auto Pay, you can ensure timely payments while maintaining control over how much you pay. Let's get started:
Step 1: Choose Your Payment Type Choose if you’d like to make a manual payment or begin using Autopay. Manual payments can still be used in conjunction with Autopay
Step 2: Select Your Payment Amount Next, decide how much you'd like Auto Pay to pay on your behalf. You have two choices:
"Remaining Statement Balance": Auto Pay will pay the remaining balance due on your monthly statement after any previous payments or credits.
"Total Account Balance": Auto Pay will pay the entire outstanding balance on your credit card account, including any purchases and accrued interest.
Step 3: Choose Your Payment Source Choose where you would like the funds to come from. You can use a bank account you already have on file or choose to add a new one.
Step 4: Choose Your Payment Date Select your preferred payment date for Auto Pay. You have two options: "Statement Post Date" or "Due Date."
"Statement Post Date": Your payment will be automatically processed on the date when your monthly statement is posted.
"Due Date": Your payment will be automatically processed on the due date specified in your monthly statement.
Step 5: Review and Confirm Double-check your selected preferences to ensure accuracy. Once you're satisfied, confirm your Auto Pay settings to activate the service.
Step 6: Enjoy Peace of Mind With Auto Pay activated, you can now sit back and relax. Your credit card payments will be taken care of automatically, and you won't need to worry about missing due dates or incurring late fees.
Additional Tips:
If you ever need to make manual payments outside of Auto Pay, you are still free to make manual payments. Autopay will adjust for payments made and not overpay your account.
